This week, we’ll be working in our literary analysis papers for Oedipus Rex. On Friday, we watched Star Wars Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and analyzed Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader as a tragic hero.
Objectives: Students will apply knowledge of tragic hero traits as described by Aristotle to a viewing guide. Students will create outlines and Literary Analysis essays for Oedipus Rex as tragic hero.
Lang Objectives: Students will use notes and study guides to find applicable quotes and examples for a literary analysis essay.
